It's been awhile since I've done the Batik Technique and
it's time to get back
to it . . .
1. Cut your cardstock to size, then stamp and clear emboss
your solid images.
2. Wad up and crumple the cardstock firmly, getting a number
of cracks into the
embossed
areas.
3. Sponge and swirl your chosen ink colors over the whole
surface, making
sure to work the colors
into the cracks.
4. Place between two layers of clean scrap paper and iron
off the clear
embossing. Repeat, using
clean areas of the scrap paper, until all of
the embossing is absorbed.
5. Layer and finish
your card as desired.
The text reads, "Someone like you should be celebrated
every day."
